These are the questions buyers most often ask when they first evaluate VexylCloud.
What is VexylCloud?
VexylCloud is an AI-first MSP and IT operations platform designed to bring RMM, service workflows, backup, SaaS admin, cloud operations, site configuration, documentation, knowledge-base workflows, vault workflows, and identity-related tasks into one operating surface.
Who is VexylCloud built for?
It is aimed at managed service providers and modern IT teams that want to reduce tool sprawl, simplify commercial planning, and run more of their operational work from one connected system.
How does pricing work?
Core VexylCloud pricing is billed per managed device and scales from $1.49 down to $0.79 by volume. SaaS Backup is billed per protected mailbox, and VexylCloud-hosted cloud backup storage is billed per rounded-up TB.
How is SaaS backup billed?
SaaS backup is billed at $1 per protected mailbox per month. That mailbox-based license covers Exchange or Gmail protection plus SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Google Drive, Sites, and Shared Drives. VexylCloud-hosted backup storage is only billed separately if you use that hosted storage layer.
How is backup storage billed?
VexylCloud-hosted cloud backup storage is billed in rounded 1 TB buckets at $15 per TB per month.
Are AI capabilities included?
Core AI-assisted workflows are included with VexylCloud. VexylCloud also supports a bring-your-own-model approach for customers that want to route workloads through preferred providers.
Do I need to adopt every product at once?
No. Teams can start with the product area they need first and expand across backup, cloud operations, documentation, IAM workflows, or AI-assisted operations over time.
Is documentation just public website documentation?
No. The public documentation hub exists for evaluation and rollout guidance, but the product itself also includes site-level records, documents, checklists, and PSA knowledge-base workflows for technicians and service teams.
Does VexylCloud include a password manager?
Yes. The current build already includes a vault surface with organization vault items, secure notes, password generation, TOTP, Bitwarden Send, emergency access, and device credential linking workflows.
What IAM products does VexylCloud support and what can technicians do from the dashboard?
The current IAM surface covers Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tenant administration, plus SAML-based enterprise SSO for VexylCloud through Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace custom SAML, and generic SAML providers such as Okta or PingFederate. Technicians can manage user lifecycle actions, password resets, session revocation, mobile wipe, aliases, forwarding, delegation, groups, licenses, admin roles, and onboarding or offboarding workflows from the VexylCloud dashboard.
Does VexylCloud integrate with antivirus or EDR vendors?
Yes. The current build includes supported endpoint security integration workflows for SentinelOne, Bitdefender GravityZone, and Microsoft Defender. That surface includes vendor connection management, deployment actions, policy and exclusion workflows, threat and quarantine visibility, and response actions such as device isolation.
Is SaaS backup just bundled into generic backup?
No. SaaS backup is a distinct product area with mailbox-based billing, protected-asset views, urgent backup actions, granular restore, PST and ZIP export workflows, and cross-tenant eDiscovery for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace estates.
Do you have public customer references yet?
VexylCloud currently uses a design-partner track instead of relying on generic reference marketing. That gives MSP buyers direct founder-led evaluation access while formal customer stories, logos, and public references are built over time.
What is the design-partner track?
It is the current path for MSP teams that want direct access while validating consolidation, workflow fit, and rollout sequencing. The goal is practical proof and honest operator feedback rather than generic sales theatre.
How do I see the product in context?
The fastest route is to book a walkthrough through the Book Demo page. We can scope your device volume, mailbox volume, backup storage profile, and operational priorities during the conversation.
